The cultural and historical heritage of La Rochelle is very rich: the Old Port, with its towers; the historic center, with its arcaded streets; the "Grosse Horloge" (Big Clock); the bell tower St. Bartholomew; the Cloister of "Dames Bmanches"; the Henry II House, the Bunker of La Rochelle, among others. Not to mention other activities such as visiting the Aquarium and the various Museums of the City: "Musée des Automates et Modèles Reduits" (Museum of Automata and Models Reduced), "Musée du Nouveau Monde" (Museum of the New World) and the "Musée des beaux Arts" (Museum of Fine Arts).

La Rochelle offers three easy access and secure beaches: The "Plage de la Concurrence", "Chef-de-Baie" and "Les Minimes".

"Ile de Ré" (Ré island) is 20 minutes away by car or bus, using the bridge, or you can take one of the tourist boats from the Old Port to go to the other islands nearby and "Fort Boyard" In the vicinity of La Rochelle, "Châtelaillon-Plage" is also to discover.

You can also visit the "Marais Poitevin", a unique place, exotic, and perfect for boat trips. The fauna and flora are remarkable.
